League Of Women Voters Of The Elgin Area/Dundee Township Committee To Host Candidate Forum In Carpentersville

FEBRUARY 13, 2017 – The League of Women Voters of the Elgin Area/Dundee Township Committee will host a Candidate Forum at the Carpentersville Village Hall (1200 LW Besinger Dr.) on Wednesday, March 8 at 7 PM. All candidates in the contested races for Carpentersville Village President and Village Trustees have been invited.

On Thursday, March 23 at 7 PM, there will also be a Candidate Forum for Community Unit School Dist. 300 and Elgin Community College Dist. 509. This will take place at the Rakow Senior Center (665 Barrington Ave) in Carpentersville. The Consolidated Election is on Tuesday, April 4.

Please keep in mind that the 2017 Consolidated Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, February 28. This election is for the Dundee Township Highway Commissioner seat and Trustees. The Dundee Township Supervisor will be included on the April 4 ballot.

Early voting for the February 28 Primary Election begins Monday, February 13, and goes through Monday, February 27. Voting locations are as follows:
  • Carpentersville Fire Station 3 (5000 Sleepy Hollow Rd.) in Carpentersville
    • Monday, February 13 – Friday, February 17 (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
    • Saturday, February 18 (9 AM – 12 PM)
    • Sunday, February 19 (10 AM – 4 PM)
    • Monday, February 20 – Friday, February 24 (9 AM – 7 PM)
    • Saturday, February 25 (8 AM – 4 PM)
    • Sunday, February 26 (10 AM – 4 PM)
    • Monday, February 27 (9 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Dundee Township Office (611 E. Main St.) in East Dundee (9 AM – 3:30 PM on weekdays, Feb. 13 – 24)

Early voting for the April 4 Consolidated Election begins on Monday, March 20, and goes through Monday, April 3. Voting locations are as follows:
